That's an excellent bit of advice to share that I agree with whole-heartedly. Ups and downs happen, and it is okay to not be productive during hard times, like this year and with all the things 2020 has dished out at us.
ReplyDeleteOf course there's ups and downs if you write, there are ups and downs with most things. But when a writer hold his/her new book in the hand........what an achievement.
ReplyDeleteTake care Chrys.
Yvonne.
Absolutely! You're right there's ups and downs with everything. I don't actually talk about ups and downs in the video, so Patricia made an excellent point.
DeleteTake care, Yvonne!
Great post. I agreed with so much of what you said, including that writing rules are not laws. So true!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Natalie!

Cool video Chyrs. I wrote something like this and no-one commented merd it. I wouldn't mind but writers spend hours and hours writing and writing over and over like you said. I love monsters and science.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry no one commented on it.
DeleteGreat advice! There's no "one size fits all" when it comes to writing. You have to use what suits you best, and that might change from story to story.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nick! Writing definitely is not a one-size-fits-all craft.
DeleteThanks for hosting this bloghop! It was so fun! Ah, the good ole days of hopping blogs. It's been a long time.
ReplyDeleteAlso, thank you for the inspiration you've helped create for us during this hope--I came across brilliant advice across the board! Congrats on your book! xD
