Gabe never asked for an angel…
Gabe Montana’s clumsy. He’s overweight, and he’s dyslexic. Worse yet, the bullies make his fifteen-year-old life even more miserable—so miserable he wants to die.
Charley, his guardian angel, says no to that idea, and comes up with a different plan. He’ll give Gabe self-confidence so he can solve his problems, not run away from them. But Gabe wonders why the angel doesn’t just help with the bullies. What’s with this self-confidence stuff?
Can Charley help Gabe stand on his own two feet? Will Gabe give up hope life can improve for him? Or will he finally listen to the angel’s advice?

That does make things easier. Mine are separate, but I'm okay with that. :)
ReplyDeletei can definitely see why both are important as an author. for me, a reviewer, a blog is enough
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
A blog is more than enough for a reviewer. :)
DeleteI don't think my Etsy shop counts... No, I don't have a website. But I'm not a published writer. I figure if I ever get around to publishing (after I get around to finishing a novel), I will do a website. But first things first...
ReplyDeleteYes, first things first. :)
DeleteI wish such a book had been available for my son, Gabe sounds a lot like him. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Beverly!
Thanks for commenting, Yolanda!
DeleteThank you, Yolanda. I hope the book can help children that are being bullied. I did a lot of research on this subject and was surprised to see how bad the situation is.
Deletewhat's the difference? my website has a blog? Or is it my blog has some static pages that could be a website?

Hi Chrys - great to know about ... we can adapt can't we. As you mention we can get ourselves organised at some stage ... and even if the website is there - we can put things up in a holding station ... while we get ready. All the best - excellent vlog post - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteGreat video, Chrys. As you know, I combine my blog with my website. So it's the active/live part of the website. I love it. I can't imagine not blogging as an Indie author.
ReplyDeleteGreat tips. Congrats Beverly!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Juneta.

DeleteI'm finally working on a website. Not sure what I'll do with it, but will find something. Have had a blog forever. Great post as always.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beverly! And good luck with your website!
DeleteI think websites are very important. They showcase your work, and are great places to put resources for teachers and authors.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!
DeleteWhat a great Vlog! Full of great tips. I have a website. I just redid the whole thing because I'll be offering life coaching soon. Well worth the overhaul to me. Have a great weekend and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteElsie
That's wonderful! All the best with your life coaching service!
DeleteI have a blog as you know, but when I publish I have a pen name so have to make a landing page for that. But I'm dithering around because I haven't sorted a few issues in my mind.
ReplyDeleteDithering around is a good thing to do. :)
DeleteI don't have a website! I do try to keep my blog updated regularly, though.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful! Blogs are great. I love mine and don't know what I'd do with it. :)
