Yolanda Renee
At one time Alaska called to me and I answered. I learned
to sleep under the midnight sun, survive in below zero temperatures, and hike
the Mountain Ranges. I've traveled from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez, and the memories
are some of my most valued. The wonders, mysteries, and incredible beauty that
is Alaska has never left me and thus now influence my writing.
Despite my adventurous spirit, I achieved my educational
goals, married, and I have two wonderful sons. Writing is now my focus, my
newest adventure!
After a gritty detective becomes involved with a
beautiful widow suspected of murder, rumor and obsession obstruct his quest for
justice.
World damnation is a psychotic man’s goal, but two
obstacles stand in his way, greed and a dedicated detective.

QUESTION: Do you like murder stories? What do you think of Yolanda's new covers? And the IWSG Anthology cover?
Hi Chrys. I love the sound/look of Yolanda's new book in the series. The first two were awesome, and so will this one be! I'm promo-ing it on my blog too. And I can't wait to get my copy of the IWSG anthology!
ReplyDeleteI see you have Yolanda on your blog today too. Yay!!! :D
DeleteAll great covers indeed as I see them at a few feeds.
ReplyDeleteScore!
DeleteThey stand out so beautifully against the black of your screen. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chrys. This is wonderful and doubly so as my story is in the anthology. I am truly blessed with good news and good friends!
You're so welcome! I am always happy to help a friend. :D
DeleteBoth great covers.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteAwesome covers!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Yolanda. That cover looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteHi Yolanda and Chrys, the covers pack a punch! I like the simplicity of them. The stories sound wonderful. I will be adding the first one to my TBR shelf on Goodreads. I love a good murder mystery so I'm sure these will be excellent. Congrats on the anthology!
ReplyDeleteThe simplicity but the contrast of the blood on the white snow is perfect.
DeleteYay for Yolanda and the IWSG! Great covers. And I do like murder stories. :) Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI like murder stories too. ;)
DeleteGreat post, just to let you know my laptop broke down, had to get a new one and get it set up hence my being a new follower.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week-end.
Yvonne.
I'm sorry that your lap top broke!
DeleteFabulous covers and I love murder and mayhem. LOL
ReplyDeletesherry @ fundinmental
So do I. ;)
DeleteI love murder stories and Yolanda's are wonderful. So happy for her today!
ReplyDeleteAnd the cover of the IWSG anthology is fantastic.
Her stories always have the bests twists and endings.
DeleteI adore Yolanda's covers. The anthology cover looks cool. Interesting color scheme. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe color scheme is neat!
DeleteCool looking cover! Sounds interesting with the plot. Some murder stories are interesting to read, I always though want to go to the end of the book to see who did it.
ReplyDeleteBetty
I always have to restrain myself from skipping ahead to peek. ;)
DeleteCongrats to Yolanda! I'm not a big murder mystery reader . . . but I do watch shows that involve them. Don't ask me how that makes sense. However, since I know Yolanda's an awesome writer, I'll be checking out her book. :)
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm sure she'd be thrilled by that, Tyrean!
DeleteMurder stories are okay if they are mysteries that we get to "discover" who-done-it. I like the idea of the stories of alternative and Utopian worlds--during my undergraduate years, I spent a lot of time with utopian philosophy
ReplyDeleteUtopian philosophy? That sounds fascinating.
DeleteThe cover is great and I love the sneak peek into the story. Go, Yolanda, go - sounds like a hit!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chrys!
You're welcome, Cherdo! It's been a while since I've seen you. I hope I hadn't accidentally missed your blog posts.
DeleteLooks fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI agree. :)
DeleteInteresting use of a repeating theme for the covers, as a sort of trademark, I think it works well. Readers will know they're in for another great read! Write on, Yolanda:-) Thanks for the share, Chrys:-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Diedre!
DeleteI've been seeing Yolanda's cover around and love it. I can't wait for the anthology.
ReplyDeleteMe too. :)
DeleteI have been seeing Yolanda's cover around everywhere. Congrats to her!
ReplyDeleteThe anthology sounds awesome! :)
~Jess
Her covers are famous now. ;)
DeleteLove the cover.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI love Alaska. We live down the road in central BC. Right now we're in Bucerias. Once upon a time we took a look at Tok and took off.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Alaska and probably won't ever get to, but that's okay...too cold for me. :p
DeleteThat's an impressive cover and an intriguing story. Congrats, Yolanda.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, Lux!
DeleteI've seen Yolanda's covers at several places. They are fascinating. Congratulations, Yolanda. Murder stories aren't my favorite. Maybe if they're not too gruesome.
ReplyDeleteHer covers are making the rounds. :)
DeleteCongrats to Yolanda on some great covers. And that cover for the anthology is pretty great too.
ReplyDeleteSo many greats covers! :)
DeleteSo excited for Yolanda. I've featured her book cover on my blog today and in April she'll be guest posting. That'll be awesome.
