:D
Detective Reid Sanders doesn’t believe in the

nature, he has no other choice but to start believing. And solving a magical
murder involves working with a witch.
Liberty Sawyer embodies the look of your classic evil
witch, so, it’s no surprise when she uncovers the murderer is a witch that she
becomes Reid’s number one suspect. If she can’t convince him otherwise, more

SHARE: A random fact (or two) about you!
Very interesting facts, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for reading!
DeleteYou should post your revised Declaration of Independence! Random fact about me... I was afraid of tornadoes for years after first watching Wizard of Oz
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to after 4th of July.
DeleteThat's a cute random fact. :)
I don't think I could come up with random facts about me. My life is an open book on my blog. I did buy your books by the way. Well waiting for one of them.
ReplyDeleteThank you for buying my eBooks, Jo! Witch of Death is available now so if you pre-ordered it, it should be in your Kindle now or very soon. :)
DeleteStill blows my mind that you don't drive.
ReplyDeleteMy father was stationed in Japan and we lived there several years. I used to speak fluent Japanese but don't remember most of it now.
Haha! It blows a lot of people's minds. It'[s hard for them to understand.
DeleteI wish I could speak Japanese!
Do you put the ranch dressing on your pizza or do you dip the pizza/pizza crust in it? :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you for donating to Locks of Love! I love the idea but I never let my hair get long enough - it drives me crazy when it hits a certain length and then I'm off to get it cut.
I dip the pizza into the ranch dressing. So good!
DeleteThanks! It was something I had always wanted to do. I'm actually growing my hair out again to do it one more time.
Don't drive? They have good buses there? lol Awesome you won first place in the school. I don't think I have any random facts left about me, the cat spilled the beans on everything
ReplyDeleteThe buses aren't that bad here. Could be better though.
DeleteThese are some fun facts. I also dyed my hair black in high school and was stuck with black hair for 2 years. Punk rock, I guess, but yeah...stupid!!! I didn't get a drivers license until I was 26 and really don't drive at all anymore.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I'm glad I wasn't the only stupid teen who dyed their hair black. ;P
DeleteI am the EXACT same when it comes to books about writers. I don't know why I find it such a turn off, but it really does annoy me. These are awesome facts!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why either. Well, maybe I do...I think it's because writers writing about writer characters is a cliche to me.
DeleteThanks for sharing your facts, Loved the read.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
And thanks for reading, Yvonne.
DeleteThat was sad about your grandmother. So are you a duel citizen with Japan? Hubby's brother was born in NewFoundland so he had duel citizenship with Canada until he registered for the draft here and then I think he had to choose between the two.
ReplyDeleteMy son eats pizza with ranch dressing :)
A random fact about me.........my two least favorite chores are folding clothes and unstacking the dishwasher.
betty
Nope, no duel citizenship. I wasn't actually born there. It would've been cool to say I was, though.
DeleteMy least favorite chore is washing the dishes!
YAY for vegetarian! :) me too. oh and I know the raps to many songs, it's a bit embarrassing if I'm at a party ha, ppl are always like "huh?"
ReplyDelete:D I love finding out who out of my blogging buddies are vegetarians and vegans. There's a lot more than I thought. :)
DeleteI always enjoy when writers do this. I like knowing the story behind the story. No DL? Obviously, talented in art too? Interesting...
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time, Slamdunk! :) A little talented in art. Not as much as I would like.
DeleteWhere creativity is concerned, you're a bit of an all rounder - writing, rapping, jewelry making, fashion designing. You'll probably get round to dabbling in other creative ventures too.
ReplyDeleteThey say that creative types are creative in more ways than one... whether you realise it or have yet to discover it.
Two random facts? I live along the coast, two minutes from the sea, and we have the perfect 'beach' climate (subtropical humidity most of the year), yet I cannot swim. I know I've mentioned it before...
(That was more than two? Means I've overstayed my welcome... LOL)
Congrats on the new release!
I think it's true that creative people are creative in more than one way. I love expressing my creative side. I've recently found gardening to be one of those ventures.
DeleteThat sounds lovely, Michelle. And you can never overstay your welcome on my blog. :D Thank you!
Hi!! I just stumbled on your blog today and am I glad I did! Halloween is my all time favorite holiday too. In fact I have a epic party year we named Holliween!
ReplyDeleteHolliween! That is clever! I just moved into a house closer to my family and my nephews so I am planning on throwing an epic party every year now too. :)
DeleteWow! Love the cover of "Witch of Death" and the blurb is indeed enticing :-) Congrats! Your random facts are terrific, can't say I was surprised by any one of them other than driving, really? How do you get around? Let's see, two of my brothers were born on Okinawa and I collect wishnicks. I, too, would love to read your rendition of the Declaration of Independence and Bless your heart for doing Locks of Love!
ReplyDeleteOh, your Great Kitty Rescue made me miss having one or three :-)
Thank you, Diedre!
DeleteLOL! The driving one does throw a lot of people off. I'm lucky enough to get help when I need to go places.
Two of your brother's were born on Okinawa? That is neat!
Stay tuned in July for my Declaration of Independence. :)
I don't like rap anymore, but I spent my last year of middle school listening to only gangster rap. That was an embarrassing time, haha
ReplyDeleteI too do not have a driver's license! I'm terrified to drive, but I really need to get it done because it's also starting to drive me crazy/make me feel lame that I have to rely on others to get me to far places. Plus, it'd be easier to get some things done while the kiddo is at school, but I never have rides then.
I'm growing my hair out for locks of love. :) Never dyed my hair black, but I have dyed it florescent red haha
Autumn and spring are my favorite seasons, Halloween and Thanksgiving my favorite holidays (for food, obviously). I have two tattoos! One's my kiddos initials with a jellyfish and the other is just a heart w/lock and key tribal design.
I wish I knew how to do anything well besides write. I've dabbled in jewelry making, painting, clothing design, scrap booking - but I have no design eye, I guess.
1) I have serious temper issues. Shortest fuse in the world.
2) Non-religious.
I am glad I'm not the only one and I know there are more out there like us who don't drive because we have a phobia of sorts about driving. I try to explain it but people just don't understand. I feel the same way about feeling lame sometimes and wanting to get my drivers license but don't know if I'll get over it.
DeleteI am currently growing my hair out for Lock of Love to donate one last time. It's such an honor. :)
A jellyfish tattoo sounds cute.
My temper can be pretty short too. And although I grew up Christian, I sort of have a belief system that involves all religions. I don't think any one is wrong.
Very interesting facts! The pimp one cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteHappy release day!!!
I thought you (and a few others) would get a kick out of that one. :P
DeleteI didn't learn to drive till I was 25, and didn't have a car till I was almost 27. Growing up, I thought I'd learn to drive at 16, and get a car for my birthday, since that was how it always happened in the movies and on TV. I was so ridiculously naïve.
ReplyDeleteI've grown my hair out for donation thrice, the last two times for Zichron Menachem. I heard some disturbing things about how Locks of Love uses a fair bit of their hair for women's vanity wigs and extensions instead of wigs for kids with cancer, so I looked into something else.
I think I've reconciled the traditional prohibition against tattoos with the modern-day Responsa explaining today's tattoos don't have anything in common with the admonition in Leviticus to not gash your flesh for the dead. All the same, I'd have to get them in places my Orthodox friends couldn't see. It would mean so much to me to be tattooed with the words "all things must pass" and "be here now." Even better, since I have George Harrison's memoir I Me Mine, with many photocopies of his handwritten lyrics, I'd be able to get them in his own handwriting. "Be Here Now" isn't one of the songs included, but the three words appear in his other songs, so I'd still be able to use his handwriting.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
DeleteThat's awesome! I'm growing my hair once more to donate. After that, I'm going to keep it short. :)
Those phrases would make nice tattoos.
I like movies about authors too, such as Henry and June and the Italian movie about Pablo Neruda.
ReplyDeleteRandom fact about me: I'm a fan of Italian opera and heavy metal, but don't like the stuff between.
Cold As Heaven
Your taste in music is neat. :)
DeleteThose are all really interesting facts about you. I would've like to have read your version of the Declaration of Independence.
ReplyDeleteRandom Fact about me: I'm a former SCUBA diving instructor. I've logged over 500 dives.
If only I knew you when I was a kid, you could've taught me how to swim and SCUBA dive. ;)
DeleteThanks for sharing "you" with us. I don't know how you get along without a car. I'd be stuck at home, no one to drive me anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid of fires, too, and my husband was a firefighter. I watched my neighbor's house burn to the ground, and a wildfire came very close to our home in the country before it was put out.
How wonderful that you donated your hair.
Random Fact: When I was little I loved to go to football games with my dad. He watched the game. I watched the majorettes with the band. I wanted to be a majorette when I grew up, and I was, in Junior High and High School. Dreams do come true.
It's tricky. Supportive family and friends are a big help.
DeleteI would be constantly terrified if I had a husband who was a firefighter.
Majorettes are fun to watch. :) Thanks for sharing a fact with me.
Thanks for sharing your random facts. We're the same for #3. I don't drive but I do have a learner's permit (and I still don't drive). That'll have to change soon though. And as for random facts about me:
ReplyDelete1) I love watching 80's movies especially starring the teen brat pack of molly ringwald and john cusack. Even the sci-fi/fantasy movies of Willow and Weird Science
2) I can't stand zombie movies. Actually afraid of them and if I do happen to watch one, I end up having nightmares where I'm chased by zombies. And it always ends with me not getting away. Weird thing is it never bothered me when I was young as Night of the Living Dead movies were my favorite movies.
3) I used to wish I was a twin because of my zodiac sign. And because I loved reading the Sweet Valley High book series.
I had a learner's permit but traded it for a state ID.
DeleteI love Molly Ringwald's teen movies!
I used to wish I was a twin too because, growing up, my sisters were closer and wouldn't play with me, so I wanted a twin sister.
Wow, those are some facts! I do love the jewelry, and I make some too (time permitting).
ReplyDeleteI used to dye my hair platinum blond - loved it. Then I developed psoriasis, and the medication turned it chocolate brown. My scalp finally cleaned and now my hair is naturally platinum blond. How strange is that? I no longer dye it.
Yes, do post your Declaration of Independence!
That is strange!
DeleteI will. :D
Yay, congrats on official release day!! Let the blog tours begin! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat fun facts about you, today. ranch on pizza is AMAZING!
Well, it started last month. ;)
DeleteHappy release day!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are fun facts. Neon green, eh? Goes to show that you light up every room, everywhere. :)
Thank you! Aw, I never thought of it like that before. :)
DeleteHappy release day! I once also dyed my [admittedly very dark] hair black. Nothing happened :-(
ReplyDeleteI naturally had dirty blonde hair so you can imagine the difference.
DeleteI make jewelry too! =D
ReplyDeleteYay! :D
DeleteI learned some new things about you, Chrys. I forgot you love to sketch fashion and the jewelry making. That is so fun! Baseball was my first team sport I played as a child and I fell in love with it! I still love the sound of a ball game and the feel of a wooden baseball bat in my hands. I also love movies about writers!
ReplyDeleteThe sound of a ball cracking against a bat is pretty cool. I never got into the game, though. I always thought the ball was going to hit me. lol I loved basketball.
DeleteI forgot to say Congratulations on the book release!! I'll be buying it definitely. I'm going to load up my tablet in the next day or two.
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!! A loaded tablet is a happy tablet. ;)
DeleteFun facts about you! Thanks for sharing. If we still lived in our old community in Maryland, I might not have my driver's license, either. There, the bus system was terrific, and I was within walking distance of the grocery store and a lot of other things. (Of course, back then, I thought just about everyplace was within "walking distance.") When we moved to Georgia in '71, I had no choice but to get my license and a car. With a hubby who traveled, a young child, and all lots and lots of miles to get to anything, I had to be able to get where I needed to go on my own.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter has donated a foot of hair several times, too. Such a wonderful thing for you to do.
I need to move to your old community in Maryland then! :)
DeleteThat's great! It is a great feeling being able to donate hair to those who need it.
Wow, we have a lot in common! I've collected Nutcrackers for years (my birthday is right before X-Mas and my family goes to the Nutcracker Ballet every year to celebrate). I'm scared of fired because my grandfather died in the MGM Grand fire in 1980 (I'm so sorry you were traumatized by one too). I love locks of love and donate every few years, and even though I don't listen to a lot of rap either, I know all the words to that song (and a few other Eminem songs) as well!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the Nutcracker Ballet other than on video.
DeleteGosh, we do have a lot in common! :D
Chrys,
ReplyDeleteWow, fascinating stuff about you. I commend you for donating your hair and for your rescue of the cats. I had a great aunt that would donate her hair. And all my cats are rescues except one who found us as a kitten.
HOW can you not have a driver's license and never drive? I'd be lost without that independence even though a lot of the time my car is out of gas so I have to stay home.
I have one nutcraker ornament my little sister gave me one year for Xmas.
Have you watched the TV show Castle? It's about a writer. I love it!
I also dabble in jewelry making and drawing fashions and have done that for years. I make most of my own clothes and jewelry. I have a scrapbook that goes back years with my designs. They're fun to look at today. When we were growing up, I drew paper dolls with complete wardrobes for my sisters and I.
I was a vegetarian for the three months I had hepatitis years ago, but that would never work in my house. I could do it on my own but not with hubby who has to have meat.
This was a fun post.
Sunni
http://sunni-survivinglife.blogspot.com/
When you have a fear, you find a way around it. Sometimes I feel pathetic for not driving but mostly it doesn't bother me.
DeleteNo, I haven't watched Castle. Well, other than a couple of shows awhile ago.
I've never made my own clothes before (other than two dresses when I was in high school for a fashion show), but I do make my own jewelry.
I adore those elephant earrings! Congrats on having 2 new books out!! I love the supernatural in books!! You might want to join the "Your favorite Vacation Spot" blog hop for May 30-31. That would bring new readers and authors (including bestselling author Melanie Karsak) to your blog to hear about your favorite vacay spot -- and to see your two great new releases! (Rules and linky on my blog -- I'd love to hear about your favorite vacation spot!)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lexa! Sadly, I've never really gone on a vacation... :(
DeleteI learned how to dye wool using food coloring. I used neon food coloring, so I have some neon green wool balls...
ReplyDeleteNeon green wool balls? Neat!
DeleteMy writing group just did a jewelry making outing and my bracelet was horrible. Their necklaces were great. Even with my horrible bracelet it was great to be creative in a new medium and a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the book release and getting some new followers from A to Z.
I'm glad you had fun and that "horrible" bracelet will be a great memory for you. :)
DeleteThank you, Kat!
I used to draw fashion designs all the time, but that was years ago. Lovely jewelry. That was another hobby I dropped...makes me wonder what happened to all my hobbies. It was great reading more about you.
ReplyDeleteYou're too busy reading and writing for other hobbies. :D
DeleteWhat a beautiful shell necklace. I love it!!! Classy, yet still beachy.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I made that for my sister a couple of years ago for Christmas. :)
DeleteCongratulations on the book release-it must be exciting. I love your jewelry! The necklace is so pretty and love the earrings. I lived in the country so we had to learn to drive. If I lived in a big city or in Europe, I wouldn't own a car. You are savings tons in money due to not buying gas, having car insurance or the dreaded car repairs. I could never be a vegetarian-I love my meat.I guess I am a cave woman all the way except I left my fur bikini at home. I love classical music, fairy tales, film, reading and animals. We have 4 cats and 1 dog-all rescues. I have an extreme phobic fear of heights and I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos-Hypermobility so pain is a chronic thing.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Birgit! It is pretty exciting. :)
DeleteI'm sorry to hear about your chronic pain. I had spine surgery a long time ago, but I still deal with pain every day. It's not fun.
Thank you for sharing facts about you, Birgit. I also love fairy tales. :)
That's funny. I don't like rap either but I do like Eminem. I make some beaded jewelry too. If I see something that I really like, I try to recreate it myself and it costs a lot less that way.
ReplyDeleteI wrote a post with random facts about me a while back. http://scarymarythehamsterlady.blogspot.com/2012/03/random-facts-about-me.html
Eminem is really talented. He gets people who don't like rap to likfe his music.
DeleteWonderful to learn more about you. You don't drive and I've driven all over the continental US, from Alaska to Florida. I love the feeling of being behind the wheel. Trucks are my favorite vehicle.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go on a road trip, though. That's been a fantasy of mine since I was a kid. :)
DeleteChrys, I just came from Lidy's. I'm sorry to learn you'd lost your mom when you were two. I laughed when I got to the part about dressing up as a pimp. And yea, I sort of guessed that neon green is your favourite colour. I knew about the tattoo, though I didn't know that you've been writing since you were twelve! :)
ReplyDeleteI lost my grandma. Thanks. I wish I could've known her. Everyone says she was a special lady.
DeleteIt's easy to figure out my favorite color, huh? :P
Yup, since I was twelve, but I did write earlier than that. :)
Those are some very cool facts, Chrys. Love that you have a dragonfly tattoo, and that fashion design is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteI always love learning something new about my blogger buddies. As for me, my most awesome random fact is that I recently had a sushi roll named after me.
You had a sushi roll named after you? Where? How? I want something named after me! lol
Delete
